Genesis GV80 –gNewscar.com– The Department of luxury car Hyundai, Genesis released a new car GV80. The presence of this car is to answer the market demand for model Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that continues to grow.
Reported from Autoblog, Friday (17/1/2020), GV80 was the first SUV to be produced by Genesis and became the fourth model in the line up car Genesis, consisting of G70, G80 and G90. Everything was born of a sedan type.

The three-line SUV is equipped with the heart of the 3,000 cc diesel engine. But reportedly, this car will get a selection of 2,500 cc petrol engines and a 3,500 cc turbo engine.
Its features come with a semi-autonomous drive and forward collision-avoidance assist-junction turning (FCA-JT) technology, which can prevent collisions from all sides.
In addition, the SUV pinned an electronic suspension with a road preview, which would later inform the driver of the road condition in front using the camera and navigation system.
Interestingly, the security feature Genesis GV80 has 10 airbags located on all sides. Includes a central airbag that expands into the space between the driver’s seat to prevent the head injury of the driver and front passenger.

Because of the rare details on the 2021 Genesis GV80, we do not have a definite price. Currently, the best we can offer is that the initial price of the SUV Genesis should be around $50,000.
GV80 has a large armor-shaped gril similar to the one that debuted on the updated G90 2020 sedan. It is flanked by a new quad-headlight design. Whether you like or hate a new look, it’s natural to assume you’ll see more on the upcoming Genesis model.
The interior looks well organized as we expected, exhibiting many layered skins along with a two-like UFO steering and some new technological features for the brand. Most notable is the 14.5-inch infotainment screen, which has a controller located in the center console near the SHIFT key. This setting requires some pointers from the MBUX Mercedes-Benz system, which offers features such as handwriting recognition and augmented-reality navigation overlays.
There is also a new cluster gauge display that seems to be displaying some level of 3D effect, using sensors to track the driver’s eyes to further create an illusion of depth.
The GV80 can be equipped as a two or three-line SUV, and has a number of luxury comfort features for the first and second row occupants. Given that GV80 is meant to compete with X5, we do not expect a broad third line.
Genesis has not confirmed the engine for the US version, but we consider the V6 3.3-liter turbocharged everywhere to be the standard engine. The company says that the new 3.5-liter V6 Turbo is being worked on, which will be exclusive to Genesis and not shared with the Hyundai or Kia models. But the motor will not be available at launch.
