2022 lexus lx 600 Review from gnewscar.com – Toyota introduced the new Land Cruiser in June this year. And now their premium brand, Lexus, is getting ready to give up the luxury equivalent.

The introduction of the next generation of Lexus LX (2022) will premiere in the world premiere Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 01.30 Japan time (Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 23.30 WIB).

The official debut will be made online via a live stream on YouTube, which we’ll be streaming on Motor1.com a few hours before it kicks off.

Lexus did not provide any details about the luxobarge (large and luxury sedan).

However, the teaser image and video above shows a wide LED light bar along with a Lexus LX 600 badge for what we assume will be the new top-range version.

It’s not too surprising to see how this premium Japanese brand is taking a strategic legal step.

Namely, by registering the mark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2019 as well as in other countries.

The absence of the letter “h” at the end tells us that this Lexus LX powertrain will not be a hybrid.

And, assuming Lexus (unlike many other brands) still retains the hallmarks of the brand, this means that the LX 600 should mean a 6.0 liter engine.

Frankly, that capacity seems too much in the current era of downsiz

ing, let alone seeing the Toyota Land Cruiser has lost its V8 petrol and diesel engines.

A side note, this is not the first Lexus “600” as the previous generation LS was available in the LS600h specification.

There’s even an open-top Landaulet model created by Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet for the royal wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

However, the LS600h doesn’t have a 6.0 liter engine, so we don’t really expect the LX 600 to have such a big engine either.

As a refresher, the Toyota Land Cruiser comes with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine to replace the old 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V8.

This car can devote 409 horsepower (305 kilowatts) and 479 pound-feet (650 Newton-meters) of torque.

Thus, making it nearly 30 hp and 80 lb-ft more power while providing better traction.

Also, fuel efficiency is significantly improved. Of course, time will tell whether these claims are true.

Toyota’s largest SUV (excluding the rare Mega Cruiser) can be had with a 3.3 liter twin-turbodiesel engine.

It is also a V6 engine, pumping out 305 hp (227 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). In some markets, the LC300 is also offered with a naturally aspired V6 base.

Depending on the engine, the Toyota Land Cruiser comes with a six or ten-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota has discontinued its flagship SUV from North America, but the Lexus LX model will be available.

We expect some big changes as a result of the transition to the TNGA-F platform, which in the case of the Land Cruiser, has shed up to 441 pounds (200 kilograms) of weight.

The off-roader Lexus LX 2022 has a reputation for technology. Featuring everything from a 360-degree camera to a fingerprint authentication system.

And needless to say, the Lexus LX will be at least as sophisticated as its main counterpart, the Land Cruiser.

After debuting next week, the new Lexus LX will go on sale in North America possibly in the first half of 2022.
